German-Irish Passive House & Energy Efficient Building Conference

Venue: Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

The German-Irish Chamber brought together over 80 Irish and German experts in the area of energy efficient building. The day-long event featured interactive discussion panels and expert presentations in a range of areas, including gas filling for energy efficient windows, infrared heating, software solutions and simulation technologies for renewable energy systems for buildings, building management and automation, heat recovery and ventilation, under floor heating and cooling systems and damp proofing technology.

In addition, a delegation visited College of Engineering and Informatics, NUIG with the agenda of parrtnership discussions and promising project co-operations.

 

Sheikh Zuhaib and Turya Ganguly attended the conference on behalf nZEB-Retrofit team,  National University of Ireland, Galway.
