The aim of the Conference on Advanced Building Skins is to contribute to a multidisciplinary, integrated planning approach by architects, engineers, scientists, manufacturers and the building industry to reduce energy consumption of buildings. The annual international conference attracted 600 participants from over fifty countries. The Conference was held at the Bern Expo in Bern, Switzerland, 03-04 November 2015.

From the nZEB Retrofit team, Sheikh Zuhaib attended the conference and  presented his paper titled 'Generic assessment of optimisation methods for performance based design of retrofitted building façades for nearly zero-energy buildings'.
